These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HiOla mobile app, website, and related services provided by Cadus Labs LLC ("HiOla," "we," "us," or "our"). By using HiOla, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use HiOla. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, activity under your account, and maintaining control of your device and verification methods.

Acceptable Use

• Do not harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or spam other users.
• Do not upload illegal, abusive, exploitative, or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to bypass security controls, scrape the service, or disrupt HiOla's infrastructure.
• Do not use HiOla in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

User Content

You keep ownership of the content you send or upload. You grant HiOla the limited rights needed to host, transmit, translate, transcribe, display, and otherwise process that content to provide the service and features you choose to use.

AI Features and Translation Accuracy

HiOla may use automated translation, transcription, and smart reply features. Output may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing important communications before relying on them, and HiOla is not intended for emergency communications or life-safety use.

Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google through their app stores and synced in HiOla through RevenueCat. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment disputes are governed by the terms of the applicable app store and your subscription settings in your Apple or Google account.

Moderation, Suspension, and Termination

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe these Terms, law, or user safety requirements are violated. You may stop using HiOla at any time and can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account.

Third-Party Services

HiOla integrates with third-party infrastructure and APIs, including providers described in our Privacy Policy. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices.

Disclaimers

HiOla is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that translated or AI-generated output will be accurate or suitable for every use case.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cadus Labs LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of HiOla.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice in the app or on this page.
